Christa is currently an independent consultant. Two of Dr Christa Rudd’s passions are people and learning, more specifically assisting people to develop learning strategies. Her career is testament to this. Christa is an accredited practitioner and trainer of Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment which focuses on cognitive development and developing learning strategies.
She has a Master’s degree in social work and is using this in offering counselling. She loves training and has been involved in many unique and diverse projects. She does, however, have reservations about how skills development and workplace learning is currently implemented and for her PhD she focused on developing a holistic, sustainable and transferable framework for learning, where the focus is on developing the whole person (wholistic referring to the whole person).
Christa learnt through Spiral Dynamics that thinking you understand people and truly understanding them are worlds apart. The biggest compliment she received from Dr Rica Viljoen was when she said to her “You have found your purple”.
